Wildflowers

I love wildflowers: their resilience, their ability to grow in unwelcoming places like roadsides and disturbed or abandoned sites.  I celebrate these delicate but hardy flowers in my glass practice. Images are created by painting the surface with enamel, and removing material to leave the design.

Happy Cats

One of the small pleasures in life is the companionship of cats. They sometimes choose to live with us, but always on their own terms. I have tried to capture some of my enjoyment in their company, in these enamelled designs on blown glass.

Serendipity

Much though I enjoy the control of enamel design on glass, sometimes I like to let the glass take its own path.
